This book was very enjoyable to read and made me want to visit Australia even more than I wanted to before. Just the right mix of historical facts, humor, and geography to keep me interested

Why AC/DC Matters by Anthony Bozza
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I thought this was going to be a snoozer but I couldn't get enough. I was said when it was over. I was fascinated by the history behind how the whole AC vs. DC was thing was settled.

The Sibling Effect: What the Bonds Among Brothers and Sisters Reveal About Us by Jeffrey Kluger
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I have close ties with my siblings and have felt that our relationship had a strong influence on who I became as an adult. It was nice to see some facts and and science too back that up.

Our Patchwork Nation: The Surprising Truth About the "Real" America by Dante Chinni
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I've moved around the United States a bit and enjoyed comparing how different these places were. It was really interesting to see just how the places I lived were different and similar. I like patterns so I lapped this book up.

A Girl Named Zippy by Haven Kimmel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I read this during a really hard time in my life. Laughed my but off. My aunt, sister and I all shared a copy and highlighted our favorite parts with different colors. Every time I pick up that copy I feel like I'm having a psychedelic trip because we just about highlighted every page.

She Got Up Off the Couch: And Other Heroic Acts from Mooreland, Indiana by Haven Kimmel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Laugh your butt off funny. I enjoyed the first book and wasn't sure the second would hold up, but Kimmel made it happen. I try to see the humor and good that goes alongside the mess that is life, Kimmel sets the standard for me.

I enjoy reading nearly everything Diamond writes. It always challenges the way I view the world. Lots of gems for the evolutionary nerd within
